Scriptural and Spiritual Roots of the Eucharist
Dr. Joseph Kelly
Saturday, March 3rd at 5 pm
On March 3rd, following the 4 pm Mass, Dr. Joseph Kelly led us through the “Scriptural and Spiritual Roots of Eucharist.” It was an engaging and informative event, which left everyone with much to reflect upon as we are in the Lenten season of this year of the Eucharist. Those who have attended sessions by Dr. Kelly on other topics in recent years such as his introduction classes on Judaism and Islam, know that he is a gifted teacher who presents significant topics in a very interesting and understandable way. Consider taking this exceptional opportunity to better understand what we mean by “Eucharist” and why the church calls the Eucharist both the “source” and the “summit” of Catholic life.
This session was held in the Cathedral Hall and a light supper was provided and all are welcome.
